London Town

Hello, I really meant to take more pictures, but as you could see in my last post I was rather preoccupied shopping... opps. But here are some pictures that did get taken!

This was taken at Caffe Fratelli, which I highly recommend you go to, it's right next door to the theatre where Mamma Mia is on, they do lots of lovely hot drinks, and pasta which looked absolutely delicious ( I was sad I had already eaten!!)

As abit of a theatre lovey this was a very necessary picture.
...

Onto the main attraction Top Hat!

As you can see this is such a lovely theatre, inside the lobby and the dress circle bar it is just so glamorous, I hope this last picture does it justice!! My opinion of the show will be in my final February is Theatre Month series you can see my other posts here and here

Hope you enjoyed looking through this post!

London Haulin'

Hello guys...
After a couple of quiet days I am back! With a haul for you, from my little trip to London on Saturday and here is what I got!

My first port of call was Forever 21 as we don't have one in Norwich, they have so many lovely items at really reasonable prices and I'm super happy with my purchases!

Jumper £14.75

Sweater £12

Top £12.25

(I also got a black jersey top, with sheer back but this was hard to photograph!)

I then headed to Topshop Oxford Circus, expecting to be wowed by their petite section... I wasn't and they didn't have the skirt I wanted. Any other petite girls have issues with the Petite sections of shops apart from ME?? But I couldn't go away empty handed!!

Earrings £5, Stud Set £8.50, Lipstick (Ooh La La) £8

Before we headed to the theatre we popped into Urban Outfitters for a look around, turns out you can't do that in my case and I came out with these AMAZING leggings from the make Truly Madly Deeply.

Leggings £28

More London themed posts are coming in the next few days!!

But the Tigers come at night...

Today is only a quick snap, but this week I'm trying to do an outfit post everyday! You may have guessed by the title of this post, that I went to see Les Miserables at long last. I loved it, I cried a lot, like you thought the actors on screen were tearful, well you should have seen me welling up. After Eponine's death there was no stopping the tears!

T-shirt Les Miserables the tour, Cardi Topshop, Leggings Next, Shoes Office, Socks Topshop

As this outfit, is perfect *fan top alert* thinks I, however it's not ground breaking!!

Sneaky Haul

Yesterday my lovely friends Camilla and Harriet, and I met for a starbucks, and had a lovely (much needed catch up). Afterwards Harriet and I headed towards to the shops, tried on loads of different things but refrained from buying as I'm going to London next Saturday :)  But I did pick up some lovely nail polishs!

Barry M were on 3 for 2 in boots yesterday which brought a smile to my face. I picked up Pink Sapphire Glitter which I have on my nails, along with Shocking Pink, they look so good together! And Cappucino it is a lovely dusty mauve colour, which I can't wait to use, we both picked it up,

Here is Shocking Pink and Pink Sapphire Glitter.

The next 2 items I picked up in January, but haven't had a chance to include them on the Blog yet!!

This is the MUA Heaven and Earth palette, which I'm sure you know about. I was really 'umming' ans 'ahringg' about getting the Naked Palette, but I couldn't justify it to myself, although every beauty blogger, youtuber and their Dog owns it, I couldn't part with the £36, so I bought this to try! It is such good value for £4, and had a nice variety of neutral colours, most of which I have used, for the price the shadows have good staying power, however in my experience some seem to last longer than others! Anyone else experience this??

Finally they famous Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain, I had been wanting one for ages and eventually got round to purchasing one! I love the colour, and you can see it in on me here.

I'm so pleased with my recent purchases, as with all hauls I'm not bragging, everyone goes shopping from time to time, I just thought you might be interested!! Remember I f you enjoyed reading this please comment or click the follow button ;)

February is Theatre Month Part 2

Hello, here is part twooo!!

The second production I went to see was Sweeney Todd, the musical version, by the Norfolk and Norwich Operatic Society, which is a local amateur dramatic group, who are anything but Amateur, putting on highly professional shows on once a year at The Theatre Royal, Norwich.

This was certainly very professional (the set was made especially for them) production, the cast were first class, Mrs Lovett, deserves a special mention, she was supreme her comedy perfect, in this very dark musical. I can't say enough good things about this production, and I'd struggle to find anything negative to say... apart from I was hoping there would be more blood!!!

Thanks for reading, the final part in this series will be up in a couple of weeks!!

I made ... Bread Rolls

Hello,

As you may have noticed by now I really enjoy a spot of baking (whether that's cakes or biscuits etc) but I have always had a hole in my repertoire  which is bread. On Saturday I decided enough was enough, I will become a bread maker, and I'll make it properly, armed with my now trusty Great British Bakeoff Showstoppers Recipe book, and anything I had picked up from the Bake Off itself, and Paul and Mary's Master-classes  I set to work. These rolls came out really well, and unlike previous attempts weren't chewy or unflavoursome. There were a few key things I did differently when I was warming the oven up I already had my baking tray in it, and also an empty roasting tin. So when I put the rolls in the oven they went straight onto the hot baking tray. I put cold water in the roasting tin to release steam, this enabled the outside of the bread to become nice and toast. The other important thing is knowing how to kneed the dough, or at least having a pretty good idea which I gained from watching the Great British Bake off. When I had previously made bread I was a total novice and it showed!!!

Sorry this is abit of a long one, comment down below if you would like me to post the recipe :D

Homemade Lip Scrub

Hello,

Are you like me and have always looked at the Lipscrubs in Lush though ooh I'd like that, then see the price £5.25, and then think I'll give it a miss, even though you'd really like to buy it??

I decided enough is enough, today I looked on the internet, found a recipe and voila!!

What you'll need -

1 tbsp Honey
1 tbsp Granulated sugar
1 tbsp Olive Oil (coconut or almond oil would also work)

It's soo easy to make, simply mix all the ingredients together!

(cue attractive pictures!!)

Put it on your lips, and rub for about a 1 minute ishh.., then leave on for another minute or soo.

Then either remove with a warm damp cloth, or lick it off like I did!!

There you have it, nice smooth lips. AND a load of pictures of me without make up on!!!

Hope you enjoyed reading this!!

February is Theatre Month!!!! Part 1

*Disclaimer I am not bragging in this post I just wanted to share this with you guys!!!*

This month I am lucky enough to see 3 productions at the Theatre.

The first production I saw was Propellers version of The Taming of the Shrew, I wasn't desperately excited to be seeing this it's Shakespeare, and they're an all male cast which I was abit weary of.

This isn't exactly a moto, but the way they approach as Shakespeare play, 'Propeller is an all-male Shakespeare company which seeks to find a more engaging way of expressing Shakespeare and to more completely explore the relationship between text and performance. Mixing a rigorous approach to the text with a modern physical aesthetic, they have been influenced by mask work, animation and classic and modern film and music from all ages.' Propeller defiantly achieved this they kept my attention an interest (which is unusual, I'm normally a Shakespeare clock watcher!!), there were some amzing moments , when it was completely silent in the audience, as we were sucked in by the tension on stage. They really showed the genius that Shakespeare was, he was ahead of his time realising the way that Men treated Kate was totally wrong. Although this was a play within a play, I totally forgot and was sucked in to the horrible cruel story. I'd really recommend you go and watch Propeller, it will completely change the way view Shakespeare!!!!

Hope you enjoyed this, comment down below, Part 2 will come shortly :)

And in the east, the dawn was breaking, and the world was waking, any dream will do

^ That is the song that always comes into my head as soon as I put this Topshop number on.

Jumper Topshop, Leggings M&S, Chelsea Boots Topshop, Necklace Primark

I love this Jumper because it makes me happy (not that you can tell from the picture on the right), A: it reminds me of Joseph, and B: it reminds me of my nan, as she has a crochet blanket in these colours (is that weird?). This is the perfect outfit for sixth form because it is cosy and practical!!

I hope you enjoyed this post! Do you have any items of clothing which remind you of someone??
